Raj: My mom just gave us a time to show up and didn’t let us do a single thing more. She has always shown us love by actions, and this was no exception. We opened the door to full house of loving friendly faces. The night was filled with food, music and joy. This is how we have always lived, and I feel fortunate to have found a partner that appreciates it all.

Tara: Mama Christine graciously opened her home to celebrate our engagement with the family—Sri Lankan-Ponniah Style, with Sri Lankan food, traditions, and song. I truly felt welcomed into the family with open arms.
